TEAM TUMANAKO: Room 28

Week 8  Tumanako 28 wrote friendship letters to each others. We wrote why we are thanking that person for. We all enjoying reading the letters we received.   We celebrated students success at our prizegiving this week. Congratulations to Rehu, Rosalynn, Wendy, Kiara, Te Hiao, Inoke, Latai and Krystian for all receiving a prize. You guys are amazing!!!  Have a great weekend everyone. One more week to go!!!

Week 7 Tumanako 27 and 28 did a really cool science experiment with milk, food colouring and dishwashing liquid. Students then wrote a scientific report. Come and check out their publish copy.        We finally got to use the pool this term after having horrible wether for the past couple of weeks. Tumanako 28 enjoyed it so much. We learnt how to enter and exit the pool safely, back strokes and front strokes.  

Week 6 In Tumanako 28 there are a lot of independent maths activities that we play. Here are some students playing some maths games to consolidate their learning while Miss Kadhim works with her maths group.  Junior and Mana working very hard on their maths.   The Leopards this week learnt how to use a dictionary. Here they are looking up meanings of words they don't know yet.  Tumanako 28 and 27 did a really cool science experiment with dry ice. It was everyones first time seeing dry ice.  I liked seeing steam come up the warm water- Ayden  It made so much smoke- Jahdei It was cool seeing the jar go ice cold from the dry ice- Bishop
